JV Volleyball Crushes Competition in Tribal Showdown
The Prattville High School JV Volleyball team showcased an impressive performance over the weekend, finishing the Tribal Showdown Tournament with a perfect 6-0 record. Coach Sarah James-Page praised the team's commitment, stating, “From the first practice to the final point, this team has chosen to work, trust, and grow together. Their commitment all season came together in an undefeated run and a Tribal Showdown Tournament championship. This is what happens when you believe in each other and play as one."
Coach James-Page continued, "A huge congratulations to the outstanding players of the 2026 Tribal Showdown Tournament. Emmalynn Mcmanus, a powerful outside hitter, and EllaKate Thompson, an amazing setter, were instrumental in keeping the team competing at the highest level. Their hard work, consistency, and commitment to their teammates made this recognition well-deserved."
Ellakate Thompson expressed her enthusiasm over the tournament results, saying, "That was definitely our best performance! From the bench to the court, everyone was on the same wavelength. We didn't even think about how tired we were because of how much fun we had!"
The Lady Lions will return to action on Tuesday, October 6th, when they travel to Oak Mountain for their next matchup. With their winning streak and strong team dynamics, Prattville looks to finish their season strong in their remaining matches.
