Lady Lions Flag Takes on Spain Park Tonight!

The Prattville High School Lady Lions flag football team is set to face off against area rival Spain Park on Sept. 9 at 5:30 p. m. at Stanley Jensen. The Lady Lions enter the game with a record of 4-2, looking to continue their success after their complete domination over Russell County. In their last encounter with Spain Park, the Lady Lions fell short with a score of 20-13, making this rematch particularly significant.

Coach Michael Battle emphasized the importance of teamwork in preparing for this contest. He noted, “Tonight is a big game against Spain Park, and we know it’s going to take a complete team effort. We’re looking for high production from Kyrstin Benson, not only in the run game but also with her blocking. We need our quarterbacks to play a clean, disciplined game and make good decisions.” Defensively, Battle highlighted the need for impactful plays from Keriana Bradley, London Williams, and Averie Patterson.
